Dickie Dees

Dickey Dees on newark nj serves up a legendary italian hot dog. I never understood why they were called that because there is pretty much nothing italian about it. Its a half moon of pizza dough bread filled with either 2 two deep fried hot dogs or one deep fried hot dog and one deep fried sausage topped with mustard deep fried potato chunks onions peppers and ketchup. Needless to say its UNREAL! This spot is famous in newark and the inside remains generally un changed since the 70's there are a ton of autographs on the wall including one from the soup nazi from seinfeld that reads "to rickey dee the hot dog nazi from the soup nazi" if you are ever in Newark NJ make the trip to Dickie Dees!

Webers Famous Root Beer

I hit webers on route 38 Pennsauken NJ yesterday right outside Philly. Unreal burgers and mini cheese steaks served with home made root beer all done in classic drive in style with wi dow service HIT THIS PLACE up if tou are ever in the Philadelphia area!

While visiting fellow sandwich lover and contributor Bill Opper in Philadelphia he introduced me to this breakfast monster he enjoys religiously every Sunday and sometimes on Saturday as well. This thing is a foot long breakfast demon that will take your taste buds on a joy ride. Oly Chit! Definitely check out savas if your in Philadelphia. Surprisingly enough they are an amazing italian restaurant and pizzeria they just happen to make this glorious breakfast sandwich.
