Official Chicken Salad

I took a rotisserie bird from the grocery store and carved all the meat off of it then chopped it up in the processor with the skin for all those rotiss flavors. Next I added a little mayo light garlic powder some pepper and red wine vinegar its the best combo (it also works with tuna if you wanna go nuts) The sandwich has that salad bacon and shredded sharp cheddar! it was slammin

the taste of a good mozzarella is remembered long after the price is forgotten

This Gem was sent in by Corey Passero

"This is it, I'm sure that there is a better sandwich out there but you would be hard pressed to find. It comes from hoboken's world famous fiore deli. Its their renowned roast beef and mutz special (w/ gravy). Reaching super stardom after being featured in 30 Rock's "Sandwich Day" episode, this sandwich draws crowds of sandwich goers hungry enough for this prize possession. This sandwich is only made twice a week (thurs and sat) so a line is expected.

My photo is petty bad, but that's because they jam this thing w/ meet and cheese and drench it in natural sauce!

A pricey sandwich, I won't lie, but they have a motto on a sign behind the counter that I can attest to: "the taste of a good mozzarella is remembered long after the price is forgotten."

Love the site. Keep up the good work pal.

John Blaze

The last sandwich I made in my shitty apartment in Bedstuy (FTP). I went out with a bang tho. Boars Head Blazzin Buffalo Chicken, sautéed red onions, pepper jack cheese, and the amazing B&G hot pepper spread on both sides toasted in the toaster oven.

6 foot sub edict

I dont know about you but I can smell a 6 foot party sub from a mile away. Next to a keg it is the most coveted party supply. tonight I got my hands on the opening slice

It was pretty dope and the party was sweet but on my way out I took 4 slices to go and got busted! its all good party subs are fair game no one wants to throw a party and end up with four feet of sandwich! no one can handle that. the lettuce and tomato simply get soggy its just not the same. so next time dont be bashful GET SOME! and get a slice or two for the road

A family afair

I recently had the pleasure of making dinner for the Randazzo family. Mark (father) and my buddy Matt (son) are fans of the site and good friends of mine. So after nice float on the lake and about 6 beers I ran into mark and he informs me that there is a large amount of left over stuffed filet mignon and boneless buffalo wings from matts graduation party. I offered to make sandwiches for the whole family and the rest is history. The filet mignon was stuffed with spinach garlic and rosemary whoooo! so slammin. So with that we went horseradish and shredded sharp cheddar. Pretty much the most baller sandwich ive ever had in my life. I felt like i needed to dress up nice to eat it, instead i just put a coozie on my budwieser. The Buffalo chicken was pretty basic but amazing none the less just shredded pepper jack cheese and blue cheese. I want to thank Mark, Rebecca, Matt, and Kate for letting me invade their kitchen.

Kevin Presents

KevinHeitczman a long time supporter continues to bring the heat! I havent heard form steve russell in a min I hope evrythings ok. here is what kevin has for is this time

"Two more sammies for ya. First up is what I like to call The Brunch. I
wanted breakfast, I wanted lunch, so I combined. We got a bacon, egg,
and cheese sandwich with turkey and ham on a toasted bagel. The second
is a quick steak and cheese I made tonight with sirloin, swiss, and
some A1 steak sauce."

So bored I made sauce

I was extremely bored a few weeks ago and as I was snooping through the freezer I discovered some frozen raw home made meat balls and light bulb turned on in my head. a huge onion, a fist full of garlic, a couple bay leaves, some baby carrots, a few cans of crushed tomatoes, and several hours of simmering later I was busting down a meatball sandwich that was UNREAL!. Now I quarter the meatballs for the sandwich for more sauce surface area and less mess. Let me tell you it looks like slop but its the best way to enjoy a meatball sandwich.

Breadless bannana sandwich

This is one of my favorite snacks of all time, but im looked at like a maniacby people who dont know what it is when im seen making or eating it. like "dude what the hell are you doing". If you put your thumb at the bottom of a banana and go up through it you can spit it in 2 and it forms a perfect space for peanut butter. Its a great sandwich esce snack thats quick and goes great with a huge chocolate milk. Elvis definitely approves.

Im taking this one for the road

I honestly dont remember what this one was but ill bet you $30 it was delicious. The problem with making a proper sandwich to go is that its usually to burly to fit in those baby sandwich bags . So I cut off a slice to enjoy on the spot then I can squeeze the rest in to go. May I suggest and sandwich lover size sandwich bag?
