RUBEN!

I think the Ruben might be my favorite sandwich of all times. If not definitely top 3. Corned beef, sauerkraut, mad swiss, and homemade russian, on grilled everything rye. SLLLLAAMIN! and as a side note I think its funny that my boy saw bon jovi eating a ruben at a random diner in jersey. Even tho bonjovi sucks and Bruce runs this jersey shit!

White Manna

Jerseys finest!!! Ive been a huge fan of white manna since I was a young buck playing hockey in Hackensack, we used to stop there sometimes on the way home. But the original is in Jersey City on Tonnele Ave. White Manna is amazing it's the original homemade white castle its super fast, super delicious and a must for any sandwich lover in the NYC/North Jersey region. Our very own Kevin Heitczman crossed the Hudson to experience the flavor and he has a funny story to go with it.

"The other day my friend brings me to this place in jersey called White
Mana. Small little joint that serves up sliders and shakes. So I'm
looking over the menu and see Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Double Ham,
Double Cheese, and Steak & Cheese. Now everything was priced pretty
much the same (steak & cheese was $1 more) so I figured they were
slider size steak and cheeses. I get 4 cheese burgers, 2 steak &
cheeses, fries and shake. Well they bring out the food and I just
laughed. The Steak & Cheeses were not sliders at all. Served up on
hard rolls, I had a pile of food in front of me. The place was pretty
good, I recommend the burgers for sure. Forgot to take pics till the
end but here's 1 cheeseburger and the steak & cheeses."

Grillin' Season

I love firing up the grill just about as much as I love sandwiches. In fact I was on a 14 day grill streak until a few days ago. I even got caught by my neighbor grilling up some breakfast in my undies at 7:30am before work haha I must have looked like a nut case. Anyway grilling season is here and we need to take advantage. Now here is a masterpiece sent in by none other than Steve Russell It appears to be mad chicken wings on a huge loaf of bread a symbol of summer and good times!

"BBQ Chicken Slider, with sweet baby ray's bbq sauce. Props to my man Sasha for cooking it up. "

Carne Potata and the LBBS

My top boy Glen Frietag sent in these creations.I didn't hear form him for like 3 months because he was living in the wilderness in Vermont. But this is what he came back with. There is nothing better then a true sandwich lover behind the counter at a deli. Especial when its a slow day...

"Some sandwiches to rock ya socks alright so im sendin you two sanwiches, i been toying with,

The Carne Potata, i made when werk got slow at the deli, they leave me with all this good ass food and noone to make it fer so i had to get a little mad scientist on it.

Its a sub roll smathered with spicy brown mustard, a thick layer of roast beast. Topped with bacon, provolone cheese, and a thin layer of potatoe salad. It goes without sayin add a little salt and pepper you got a 2 course sandwich that eats like a meal. ya heard.

and the other:

the LBBS london broil broc salad

this high class cadillac of a wrap was easy as hell to make cause the brocolli salad was done fer me, But its Brocolli chopped up fine, with bacon and shredded romano cheese on top of thinly shaved grilled london broil. with a coleslaw dressing, wrapped in a whole wheat or sun dried tomato wrap. little experimental but i made it as a special and sold a shiton. get some."

Afternoon Delight

Kevin strikes again..... he ordered the kobe beef like Shaquille O'neil. Notice the proper sandwich lab and abundance of supplies haha. Now thats gettin some!

"While enjoying the lovely weather this weekend, I built this
deliciousness. We got kobe roast beef, turkey, swiss, avocado,
lettuce, mayo, on toasted wheat, garnished with a half sour. Do Work!"

BEEF

Sent in my the Buffalo witch doctor.

"..."Linwood Ave"
Burger, seasoned spinnach, cheese"

Lightning strikes twice

Corey Passero Reexploring the chicken cutlet with fresh mutz, pesto, roasted reds, spices, and balsamic. Never a let down.

Confucius say.... make dumpling sandwich

Hell Yea! Kevin Heitczman is the man. I always wanted to take the dollar dumpling spot into sandwich territory, but I'm always afraid that as soon as my dumplings would find their way into my sesame pancake I'd get thunder kicked out of the store through the window for violating tradition. Hats off to you Kevin! The chicken salad hero looks boss as well.

"Two creations I got here are a Dumpling Sammy and Chicken Salad Hero
that are both pretty straight forward but oh so delicious.

The dumpling sandwich came about after going to Tasty Dumplings in
chinatown and getting a golden pancake. It was pretty much a
toasted/lightly fried corner of sesame bread that was amazing. So I
opened her up and filled it with some pork dumplings and bam, it was
amazing.

The chicken salad hero was something I made a few nights ago after
class. It consisted of chicken salad, pecans, some grapes, and swiss,
all toasted on a baguette. Keeping it simple and delicious."

Fried Bologna

Steve Russel busted out the frying pan for this one! get some

"fried bologna and onions with dressing and mayo "

Shrooms with Eggs

My homie Chris fastest man on 2 wheels Thormann sent me this sandwich. This guy swears by his duck sauce, Ive seen the stash. I have to try it out one day.

"provolone or swiss
avocado
egg with mushrooms
ham
duck sauce"

Lemme get that in a basket!

Steve russell sent in this delicious store bought.

"prosciutto, provolone, roasted peppers, lettuce, balsamic, roasted pepper mayo, on focaccia bread. "
