LIVE from the Food Network's Wine and Food Festival South Beach, Florida

Sandwich Mansion's full coverage of the Food Network's Wine and Food Festival is brought to you by the Heitczman brothers they headed down south to attack the flavors and sniff out all and any sandwiches they could find along the path. wwwooooooooo!

"So my brother and I are back from south beach and already missing the
hot weather and slammin' food. Now we ended up going to the Bubble Q
instead of the Burger Bash. The Bubble Q consisted of dozens of top
chefs preparing their favorite forms of bbq along with all you can
drink Champagne. Needless to say we were chowing down and throwing
back some bubbly. The only problem with the BBQ was most of it wasn't
sandwich form but I feel this is more of a on-the-scene report and all
the food was really good so enjoy. In the pictures we have some
exterior shots, hot champagne lady, and of course some bangin food. in
the pictures we have some of the most tender ribs I have ever eaten,
some mini Salmon burgers, bbq pork with beans in a peach sauce
(awesome), A whole pig, a nice rib eye, and by far the best thing
there. A fried chicken skin sandwich. Now these things were a surprise
hit to everyone. Chicken skin covered in a dill pickle sauce, they
tasted so good it was ridiculous. Along side, they had a matzah ball
wrapped in bacon which seems a bit sacrilegious but just as delicious.
Now the portions may seem a bit small but you could have gone back as
many times as you wanted and stuff got better more times around. Also,
the only right way to cook bbq is with a bud heavy at hand. After
this, we ended the night with some pitchers at a local watering hole
and passed out on the beach the next day. I wish I had taken more
photos of food but eating was the main concern. Once the blog blows
up, we'll get some people to pay us to go out to these more often.

Side note - We also hit up a few local joints including a awesome
little cuban place and Danny Devitos italian restaurant. Included
pictures are a footlong Cuban Sandwich, a Meatball the size of a
softball, and some amazing appetizers. Once again, not all sandwiches
but all worthy of this blog.

Till the next time

- The Brother's Heitczman"
